The design process involves the following activities: establish minimum requirements of our client, council and Energex/Ergon, prepare concept plan for entire development (if there will be future stages), co-ordinate design with surveyor and civil engineer, prepare design of electricity reticulation and street lighting for stage, submit design to council (and/or DTMR) for approval, send design to Telstra to enable Telstra design, send design APA if gas is to be installed, prepare reliable construction cost estimate for client, negotiate for Energex/Ergon to contribute the full cost of any network augmentation which Energex/Ergon has requested.
