The design process involves the following activities: establish minimum requirements of our client, council and Energex, prepare concept plan for entire development (if there will be future stages), co-ordinate design with surveyor and civil engineer, prepare design of electricity reticulation and street lighting for stage, submit design to council (and/or Main Roads Department) for approval, send design to Telstra to enable Telstra design, send design to gas company if gas is to be installed, prepare reliable construction cost estimate for client, negotiate for Energex to contribute the full cost of any network augmentation which Energex has requested.
