The design process involves the following activities:
  • establish minimum requirements of our client, council and Energex,
  • prepare concept plan for entire development (if there will be future stages),
  • co-ordinate design with surveyor and civil engineer,
  • prepare design of electricity reticulation and street lighting for stage,
  • submit design to council (and/or Main Roads Department) for approval,
  • send design to Telstra to enable Telstra design,
  • send design to gas company if gas is to be installed,
  • prepare reliable construction cost estimate for client,
  • negotiate for Energex to contribute the full cost of any network augmentation which Energex has requested.
